Another one bites the dust...

Well, here it is, another birthday to check off!  Today I (Jordan), am 25 years old.  Holy shit.  I've maintained a quarter of a century of fun.  Here are some things I've learned in my 25 years:

1.  Never wear thong underwear, you'd rather go commando.
2.  Always love your parents equally, for they have done a miraculous job handling your crazy ass individually and together.
3.  Travel when young, and keep traveling until your super old.
4.  Read and watch National Geographic stuff.
5.  Being honest with others is tough-being honest with yourself is even harder.
6.  Put out to the world what you want to receive.  Giving, whether it's money or simply positive energy, creates a massive impact of happiness.  At least for a short period which I'm ok with.
7.  If you don't like your job, then fucking quit it.
8.  Always go the extra mile. Always.
9.  If something is cheap, that doesn't mean you HAVE to buy it.  For me, shoes.
10.  Love, love, love.  It will fill you and sustain you throughout. If there is no one around you to love, then find a sparkly rock for god sake and love it to pieces.
11.  Only love what loves you back.  Children are an exception, they will chose to hate you somedays but you still have to love them back!  (The rock DOES love you, it just can't say it.)
12.  Enjoy drinking, staying out late, and being able to run 5 miles the day after.  This ability does not last.

My best quote of 2012 (thus far, it's easy since it's only 21 days into it)
"It's great to not care anymore, and to care for what is great"

Nyki and I tried to include a little video of our hotel room we are staying in tonight. And some useless banter. But no, the video wasn't able to upload, another day perhaps after I figure this thing out...  My Nyki, She is the sweetest woman on the planet.  I am so very lucky to have her, everyday.  Thank you for a magical evening with friends and a king size bed!

Did I mention we have been extremely sick the last day and a half and we're only getting through tonight with these supplies:

P.s  someone just knocked on our door,  it was a delivery boy with a plate of chocolates with "happy birthday" drizzled in chocolate in the middle of the plate.
WOW.
